Based from Leeds with agile/home working opportunities, we are looking to recruit a Planner within IETG.  The purpose of this role is to assist the Flow Operations Department by effectively creating work packages for field crew teams to complete maintenance / removals of field-based equipment as well as managing field crews site sheets and incoming data.

Working alongside the Flow Operations team you will –

  • Identify and prioritise installations and maintenance to meet contractual obligations, and via work requests from Data Analysts
  • Logistically group and order maintenance and produce route plans for maintenance teams
  • Create daily / weekly plans for site field crews using Ulysses, information gathered from land registry and traffic permits applied for.
  • Create and apply for traffic permits using MapInfo, Google and field crew information
  • Creating Land Entry Notices (LENS) in MapInfo (GIS software) using data from the site investigation and Land registry.
  • Liaise with field crews on a daily basis
  • Manage incoming paperwork and electronic site sheets including data and photographs returned from site, and maintain databases as required
  • Provide supporting information on crew and contracts performance as required.
  • Assist with future development and testing of scheduling software.
  • Liaise with external clients as required.

Essential skills for this role include good computer skills, particularly Microsoft packages and a previous experience of scheduling.  It would be desirable if you –

  • Had a working knowledge of AutoRoute and MapPoint
  • Be able to adapt to bespoke systems
  • Have a knowledge of NRSWA

  • Be able to work effectively under pressure during busy periods, and be resilient when changing demands/priorities occur

Working hours are 40 hours per week with the ability to be flexible according to business needs.

Salary is £24,960 plus company benefits
